I want to use citeproc-java to generate citation/bibliography but I would like to use XML file as input instead of JSON etc. input file formats that are allowed with citeproc-java. Can anybody help?

I’m pretty sure citeproc-java is just a java wrapper around citeproc-js, and if that’s right, the answer is no.
