I’m not sure it’s safe to map seriesNumber to number in Zotero.
Report’s reportNumber is mapped to number already, and there is a
potential for a conflict: report item type includes a series field and
potentially seriesNumber field could be added here too.

Bruce, can we just add seriesNumber variable in CSL?

non-standard, mappings.

Yes, but for consistency’s sake, it should probably be
“collection-number” (though we have “series-editor” elsewhere; hmm
…).

Ok, seriesNumber is now mapped to CSL collection-number. You need to
upgrade to the latest Zotero dev build to use this feature.
