Please pardon me if this isn’t the proper place for this kind of question.
If a CSL file calls for page-range-format="chicago"
, is there a way to specify in the file that that range format should also in the case of a section locator type?
For instance, in the SBL note style, range truncation works perfectly for page-type locators. The same truncation should apply also in the case of section-type locators. But section ranges currently don’t get truncated (specifically, e.g., in the latest Zotero beta).
I’m unsure what needs to change in the CSL to allow this to happen. Any advice on that point (or input on where I should be posting this question instead if this isn’t the right place) would be most appreciated.
Thanks so much!
