Greetings from new list member

Hello, everyone, and a happy New Year. I am a new list member,
working on the Bluebook style for Zotero. In the course of fashioning
CSL code for my first batch of testing examples, I’ve run into a few
issues that seem to require extending the CSL schema in some way. I’m
more of a comparative lawyer than I am a computer programmer, so if my
initial questions or ideas seem misguided or ill-informed, please feel
free to nudge me back on track.

There are several items in my satchel of wishes, so I’ll end with the
greeting here, and send the items in separate list messages to help
keep the archive threading straight.

Hello, everyone, and a happy New Year. I am a new list member,

Welcome aboard Frank. It’s really good to have practitioners with
technical chops bang on the limits of CSL, and the Bluebook style is
just such a challenge.

Sure. As a general rule, one helpful way to make this easier is just
to make sure you don’t jump the gun with a proposed solution without
clearly laying out the problem, and hence the specific requirements.
