Bluebook is getting there

I’ve finally turned the corner on this. The Bluebook style now
correctly handles books, chapters, articles and legal cases. The only
stuff that it falls down on are cites that require awareness of the
relationship between items, but that is one for the future. (Statutes
still need to be set up, but that will be easy, right?)

I have resorted to a number of dirty tricks and non-standard
extensions to Zotero and CSL to get things working. It would be great
to have a discussion about what to do with these, at a time that is
convenient for everyone. The Zotero that is running the style for us
is in a separate upgrade stream, and I have tools in place to track
our patches against the current 1.5 development snapshot, so there’s
no special pressure at our end.

Assuming that merger and accommodation are desirable, is there a time
of year that would be most convenient for everyone in the group to
discuss Bluebook issues? Also, if anyone has suggestions for how I
ought to present the variances, I’ll be happy to prepare suitable
reference materials.

Many thanks to everyone,
Frank Bennett

I suggest you itemize any CSL-related proposals, and create separate
tracker tickets for each one.

I think we need to move to a model when you just set a deadline for a
release, and add things as we go.

Will do.
