FYI, I just checked in recent changes to the code that:

  • implements multi-language support
  • simplifies templates
  • removes language-specificity to CSL (Matthias’ request)
  • fixed a bug in citeproc in the grouping-key function

It still all needs to be cleaned up, and I’ll do that over the next
couple days. I hope to release a 0.9 version for serious testing
sometime in the next week or so.

In separate news, I’ve heard from the developers of this very promising
new Firefox extension project:

They will likely be implementing formatting using CSL (probably
something like porting citeproc to e4x). Hopefully more on this later
