Well after a few months of slogging I’ve finally got it working to a point were I could drop it into Drupal/Biblio and see what happens. The attached image shows the result. Still needs some spit and polish, but overall not bad, and (so far) the performance doesn’t seem to be a killer either.
Just for the record, all it does (so far) is format bibliography entries, sorting is done in the database query and there are no associated “cites” or disambiguation at this point.
I just had to share this… Sorry for the noise.
