I’d expect a real version to use DHTML to configure the UI as the user
goes along. And, of course, it’d be rather longer!
Oh, also, I didn’t have time to dig out the CSS tricks to do inline
previewing within select lists (for example, for options 3, 4, and 5),
but I recall it’s not that hard.
I’d be willing to help with the macro normalization* and basic design if
someone else can handle the JS stuff.
Of course, there’s no need to do this now, but I put it there for thought.

- I spent time over the weekend moving APA and Chicago author-date to
use only macros as a test. So far it seems to work well, though I need
to find time for more testing and tweaking.
