Actually, that in itself won’t fix it, as the logic looks to match the
value in your MODS record to the attribute value here:
<genre term="dissertation">
<renderas>PhD Dissertation</renderas>
</genre>
That’s a simple solution, but am not sure it’s ideal. OTOH, there’s
something to be said for standardization in this area.
In any case, try changing your mods record to have “disseration” as its
genre value and let me know what happpens.
