So where are we at with CSL?

Here’s what I see to do:

  1. finish the schema and declare it 1.0 (at which point it gets frozen
    hopefully); Simon’s gone MIA again after suggesting some big changes,
    so I don’t know what to do about that

  2. conventions for distributing and accessing styles. We have the
    Atom-inspired metadata, complete with URIs for the styles; let’s use
    it.

  3. do a proper spec (including information on 1 and 2)

  4. a web-based style previewer for quicker editing (hook up the Zotero
    JS code to some simple form and page with some data behind it), and
    later …

  5. full style editing GUI

I’d really like to see if we can do 1-4 at least over the summer,
though I can’t promise I can dedicate a ton of time to this myself, as
I have a lot of writing I’ve committed to.

We really need a way to make this happen through some collaborative
process.
