# cs:label w/locator variable

When used in cs:label, the “locator” variable refers to the label name  
associated, in user-supplied data, with the user-supplied locator:

I’ve just notice that this behavior does not appear to be documented  
in the specification  
([http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#label](http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#label)  
)? If I’m not missing something, I’ll be happy to propose some text  
to cover it.

This is all fuzzy to me now, it should definitely be documented.
