If we have a `container-title`, some name variables may refer to `title` or to `container-title`. For example, `translator` can refer to both. Or, if we have a volume in a multi-volume work, it is not clear if `editor` designates the editor of the individual volume or the multi-volume work.

This will be even more serious once we have introduced `volume-title`. If we have chapters with `title`, `volume-title`, and `container-title`, `translator` could refer to each level in this hierarchy; while `editor` can’t refer to `title` here, it can still refer to `volume-title` and `container-title`.

Have there been discussions about this before?

I suggest that we consider adding specific variables for each level in the title hierarchy, e.g. `container-editor`, `container-translator`, `volume-editor`, `volume-translator`, etc.
