"authority" variable

adamsmith notes that the “authority” variable is in official 0.8, but
does not validate:

Last week, Rintze pointed out that it’s missing from the released schema:

As Zotero will continue to be fuelled by 0.8 at version 2.0, is it
possible to fix this up?

It makes sense to add that now, along with “submission” date. Do you have
write access to the repository? On Jan 27, 2010 4:31 PM, “Frank Bennett” <@Frank_Bennett> wrote:

I think so. But before touching the schema, wouldn’t a mapping to the
existing “event” date work for the the “submission date” issue? I’ve
checked the discussion of patents, and they seem to need only two
dates. Same is true for legal-cases-published-in-newspapers.

No; “event” is for things like conferences, or potentially hearings.

That would be this link:

Does this mean we release/tag 0.8.1 once these proposed changes have been
made to the 0.8 schema? The 0.8 schema has been changed once without an
update to the version number (
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/xbiblio/changeset/1208), but these
additions seem to have a bit more impact.
